Delete your account
You can permanently delete your Spliz account and the personal data we hold about you, in-app or by email.
Option 1 — Delete from the app (recommended)
- Open Spliz on your device.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Tap “Delete account” and confirm.
Your account enters a 30-day grace period during which a fresh login restores it. After 30 days the deletion is irreversible.
Option 2 — Email request
If you can no longer access the app (lost device, removed from store, etc.), email us with the wallet address linked to your account.
privacy@spliz.appWe answer within 30 days as required by GDPR. We may ask you to prove control of the wallet (e.g. signing a short message) before processing the deletion.
What we delete
- Profile data (display name, avatar) — within 30 days.
- Sessions, push tokens, in-app notifications — at deletion time.
- Spliz memberships and pending balances tied to your wallet — within 30 days.
- Compliance audit logs (sanctions/AML) — retained 7 years as required by EU AML rules (DAC8 / AMLD6), then deleted.
What we cannot delete
Settlements you signed are recorded on the Base blockchain (a public ledger). On-chain records are permanent and cannot be erased — Spliz has no technical ability to remove them. Your wallet address remains pseudonymous on-chain unless you publicly link it to your identity.
